Multiplayer
⚠️
Coming Soon — The multiplayer feature is currently being redesigned with a new architecture.
What’s Coming
We’re building P2P multiplayer infrastructure that covers the vast majority of indie game needs:
P2P Multiplayer
- Peer-to-peer connections for co-op, casual, fighting, party, turn-based, card, and board games
- STUN/TURN infrastructure for NAT traversal
- Lobby system with invite codes
- Cost-effective (essentially free at indie scale)
- Both players need to be online together (like playing chess in person)
Note: For turn-based games, players simply need to be online at the same time. Match history can be stored after the game ends for replays and stats.
Timeline
Documentation and SDK integration guides will be available once the backend infrastructure is complete.
In the meantime, check out our other SDK features:
- Recording — Capture gameplay clips
- Error Tracking — Monitor game errors
- Social Events — Trigger social content
